Thanks to Diane Mooney McKellar for preserving this Year Book from her days as a student at Woodnorth School and thanks to her daughter Sandy McKellar for scanning it and sending it to me to be included here. Although I have no recollection of it, I see that I was one of the reporters for the Year Book from Room I, when I was in Grade Three.
It is interesting to note that the reports include the fact that a number of students suffered from mumps and measles during the school year. The measles vaccine did not become available until 1963 and the mumps vaccine in 1967.
In a very public-spirited way the Student Council decided this year to donate $30 (of the funds raised at their Fun Fair) to the Community Club as a contribution to the construction of the new skating rink.
